LE on Win 8.1
Yes, 8.0.5 works just fine on Win 8.1 PRO. Nice for a backup rig! Question: usually using ALT-F4 stores window positions and save/closes the session. But not on this. Any ideas?

Re: LE on Win 8.1
Hi sw rec,
Pro tools LE 8 is not compatible with Windows 8.1. Some features may work and some features will not. Best Regards, YD |

Re: LE on Win 8.1
Thanks! I'm only using it as a backup in my office, since I seemed to have a spare Mbox mini laying around, so it's only a minor inconvenience. Everything else SEEMS to working pretty well.

Re: LE on Win 8.1
Not to beat this to death, but I MIGHT try running it in compatibility mode. Even though it isn't Win 8 supported, it does basic tasks quite well so far.

Re: LE on Win 8.1
I've done it, it worked ok my system. Run as Admin and Compatibility modes can help if you have errors. But as you know, it's not approved.

Re: LE on Win 8.1
About the ONLY thing I've had not work is the alt-f4 to store window positions, running as administrator and in Win 7 compatibility mode. Nice to have a backup-backup system!
