Default Can't catch a break...

Well, I'm the day before my mix is due to be sent to mastering, and I've got a problem I hope you can help with.

I was told during the first round of mix revisions that some parts were missing (I was not informed about them, and they were still on an external hard drive). So, I hooked up the hard drive via firewire and found the tracks, imported them, and thought that they were imported into the audio files folder. Well, I started having issues like my vocal was jittering something fierce audibly, with no sign of a problem visually. I figured it must be because ProTools is trying to read files off the external drive. So, I closed and reopened the session to find that indeed, audio files were missing and asking if I wanted to automatically relink, etc. I said no. Went to the files, copied them into the audio files folder manually, turned off the firewire drive and closed the session again. I opened the session and it wanted to relink, so this time I said yes, but no luck.

Next I deleted the tracks in the session so that audio was no longer being looked for and imported them fresh into the session. When I hit play I got a bunch of errors, the last being "Assertion in "..\Mdie_TrackPlayer.cpp", line 469." So, I closed that session and opened a previously saved version of the session. I imported the audio there, and I get the same assertion error. I tried hooking the firewire external drive back up, but I get the same error. I don't know what to do (obviously, or I wouldn't be sending out a cry for help), so if you know what to try, please let me know. If you saw my recent post about my computer crashing on this project, you know I've had a ridiculously tough week. I could use some good news. Thanks in advance for your help. Here's my sandra:
