SPDiF Input only a single channel

What would cause one of my 2 Spdif channels to stop working?

Details are a Dual Channel Mic Pre (Mindprint DTC w/ A-D convertor) Spdif out to 03R and only 'right' channel is recieving. Clearly there is Audio thru the DTC to the output meters but the armed SPDif 'Left' channel shows no incoming signal.

Note - this has never been an issue since my Digi 01, 02R and it even worked a few weeks ago with my current 03R. I recently made a hardware swap on the ADAT side, replacing a digital mixer with an Octopre - all without incident. The octopre comes thru the ADATs without issue but in the process i seemed to have lost this left SPDiF channel.

Any ideas?

I would be suspect of the Mindprint itself here. Start by making sure both channels are working out the analog outputs. Does it have insert points on it? If so, maybe an insert point is broken(the normal between send/return failed).

Yes on the insert points and will test along with the analog out, will report back
