PT 9.05 play issues
Using 9.0.5 and Mac 10.6.8
When i boot protools and select a session the play function will not work. If I close protools and restart mac then boot protools and select session everything works fine. Any ideas what is causing issue? Thanks |

Re: PT 9.05 play issues
I've had this issue starting at the latest by v9.0.2 (if not before). Only happens when I have a session with one or several PT software instruments instantiated. Might be specifically tied to Xpand, but I haven't done any thorough testing to confirm this. Usually a simple restart of Pro Tools (no computer restart necessary) fixes the problem for me.
And very often, if I close the session and open another with a similar configuration (software instruments, specifically Xpand (?)), the problem will return and will require yet another restart of Pro Tools. I can confidently report that this problem has persisted over the following specs: Mac Pro 4,1 (Early 2009) SL 10.6.6-10.6.8 Pro Tools 9.0.2-9.0.5 |

Thanks for the reply. I will not worry about it then.
