PT Upgrade Plan Renewal bought but still getting Expiration Notifications
Hi,
I bought the $99 subscription upgrade plan back in Dec. 2014. It was a 16 month deal that was going on at the time. Because the subscription will be expiring at the end of this month (March 2016), I purchased another Subscription upgrade ($99/1 year) this past Dec (2015), to keep my subscription going once expired this month. I accidentally activated (Or so I think/thought) the subscription 2 weeks ago, but recently started getting notifications saying my license was going to expire. Wouldn't that not be happening if I used my subscription license 2 weeks ago? Is there a way to look this up? |

Re: PT Suscription Renewal bought but still getting Expiration Notifications
Does the renewal show in your Avid account? If so, the iLok license won't reflect the renewal until just a day or two before it actually expires. Once the iLok license shows the renewal, you'll need to refresh the license on your iLok.

Re: PT Suscription Renewal bought but still getting Expiration Notifications
What I am seeing is that my "Upgrade from PT10" Upgrade and Support ending soon. It shows that Annual Upgrade Plan & Standard Support Plan will end March 31, 2016.
Then under the tab "Pro Tools Annual Upgrade Plan" it says the Annual Upgrade Plan "Time Period" ends Dec. 21, 2016. My original plan was supposed to end this month, as shown in the previous paragraph, so I would assume that my Support Plan that is supposed to end March 31, 2016, would then end March 31, 2017 correct? Since I am using the upgrade, it would just continue another year, right? I may have activated the account early though on March 12, 2016, but it's a 1 year subscription, so I would assume it would end in 1 year March 12, 2017, not Dec. 21, 2016. As you can see, I'm a bit confused. And I'm still not sure why I would still get notifications that my plan is ending if I activated it on March 12. |

Re: PT Upgrade Plan Renewal bought but still getting Expiration Notifications
You should probably start a support case to get all of your issues ironed out.

I opened one, but unfortunately didn't seem to get a very clear response.

Re: PT Upgrade Plan Renewal bought but still getting Expiration Notifications
Looks like the problem stems from the fact that you bought another Upgrade Plan instead of renewing your original Plan (renewals weren't available until after 2015). So you have 2 separate Plans which is why you are getting conflicting notices. I'll speak with the rep that handled your case to see how we can resolve this.
