Default Anyone else rocking a 2020 13" MacBook Pro M1?

I've been using this little MacBook for a month or so now, as a testing ground to see if a laptop was for me as a main studio machine before getting a 16" M3 Max MBP - and hot damn it is working surprisingly well on Sonoma - there are of course some known issues with Sonoma and PT, and Soundflow is not fully functional sadly.

However, I've been mixing medium-sized projects of up to 50 tracks with fairly heavy plugin use, and it has been working fine - activity monitor shows a fair bit of CPU and RAM overhead. It has been great to have the onboard camera (albeit poor res) and microphone for streaming sessions, meetings etc

This machine was planned only for home use, travel etc but I am pleasantly surprised how capable it is, and I thought to mention it here in case someone might find it useful.

I tested it with Rosetta 2 early last year, and whilst it worked smoothly I was getting frequent CPU overloads on similar sessions from this past month.

I hope that translates well to the imminently arriving M3 Max MBP!

I tested it with Rosetta 2 early last year, and whilst it worked smoothly I was getting frequent CPU overloads on largish sessions.

I hope that translates well to the imminently arriving M3 Max MBP!

Thank you, and I hope this bodes well for a 16 Core M3 Max MBP when Pro Tools fully supports Sonoma!
