Default Edited: "Route to track" autocreated bus subpaths assigned wrong, 5.1 width and above

Edited: This thread should be called "Route to track" autocreated bus subpaths assigned wrong, 5.1 width and above instead of "PT HDX 2018.3 Atmos bed (7.1.2) DSP mixer buggy on bus paths"

An Avid rep was kind enough to contact me about this and asked assistance in reproducing the bug - we eventually found out that my problem appears only on bus paths created through the "route to track" feature in the edit or mix window (which is the predominant way I create bus paths these days), bus paths created in the IO setup bus tab have correctly assigned subpaths by default. The problem happens with 5.1 and 7.1 buspaths too. Avid is hopefully on it now, but a heads up in any case.

Original post:
(This is a repost from the PT 2018 forum, as suggested to me)

I've just started my first score mix for an Atmos feature film, working in Atmos Bed 7.1.2 format, in PT 2018.3 (I assume it was the same for previous versions, though have not checked). I'm running a single HDX card.

The issue: .7.0.2 and .Overhead subpaths don't work correctly on internal busses (but they do work on output busses). See the video:

(There's pink noise panned center overhead to a 7.1.2 bus routed into the main 7.1.2, working correctly, then it gets routed into the .7.0.2 subpath - it gets routed only to the left overhead channel, then panned to the .Overhead path - it gets routed to the L and C channels!)

Ideascale is for new ideas/features.

This is just a bug.
Quickest way to log it with Avid is to report the error through the support system.

Bumping this - see edited first post and thread title.
