Should I get 1 HD I/O

Hello I am building a pro tools system that needs 4 interfaces, aI already have 3 192 iOS, but i have enough money left over to get an hd io 16x16. Do you think its worth the extra monet or should I just get another cheap 192. Thanks Much

Used AVID 16X16 can be had on the used market for ~$2K. Many in new shape and unregistered (check ALTO music). Well worth it.

The new Avid-branded purple HD interface has much better converters so it would be a good idea to grab one. But with that said, the old bluey 192 interface isn't bad either. The new one is future-proof so that's the big point here.

I would be tempted to buy cheaper old box for interface and spend that money for a nice pair of preamps or mics.

that's a great price for an 8x8x8. That's an amazing price for a 16x16 analog
