PT10: Import tracks with overlay+match tracks not working
Hi,
I am trying to import tracks using match-tracks and overlay. I have "track data to import" set to some but playlists, clips and media is on. After hitting OK. PT does it´s thing but nothing is put on my tracks. The media is in the region-list but nothing on tracks. I imported an AVID AAF with overlay to the same session without issues but it does´t work with my actually work-tracks. Any idea what this could be? Operator error? Bug? Thanks, Frank. EDIT: Just tried the same with ALL parameters enabled instead of "some" and "replace" instead of overlay but same result. Nothing gets imported. EDIT 2: Just tried import to NEW tracks and nothing came over either. But then why did it work when importing from a session coming from an AAF?

Re: PT10: Import tracks with overlay+match tracks not working
Found the Bug:
The source session had a start time of 23:59:XX:XX. The session I´m importing to starts at 00:00:00:00. At this combination track-import seems to be impossible but there´s no warning. No idea where that 23h start time came from. Is that the default session start-time? I never set that time. However there seems to be a bug. Frank.

Re: PT10: Import tracks with overlay+match tracks not working
I've seen a weird session start time if the frame rate is set oddly. 29.97 into 24 or something similar.
24 hour timeline was never going to be without bugs. nice catch. Do the regions come in correctly if you set the session start time to 23:00:00:00? Does checking the Change Session Start Time to match box (top right of import) help at all? Ceri |

Re: PT10: Import tracks with overlay+match tracks not working
bug or not but it's the same from 7.4. session timecode starting from 23:XX often is a result of changing current TC command
