Ilok transfers / adding iloks to an account

Hi everyone

I've just purchased an ilok 2 with a pro tools HD9 and HD10 bundle on. I've been given the email address of the ilok and the ilok account details. What I'm hoping to do is eject it from the account it's with at the mo and add it to my account I already have with ilok. Could this be done?

The next thing I want to do is change all my licenses from the ilok 1 I have at the mo to the ilok 2 as this is smaller and holds more licenses. On my ilok I have licenses by DUY who I know need to give permission for you to transfer a license. Is this permission only needed if the license is going to a different account or if the license is being transfer just from one ilok to another ilok even if they are in the same account

yes but you'll need to go through the Transfer of Ownership routine to get the iLok out of one account and into another

as to iLoks in your account most licences can be moved w/o any hassel but I'm sure some company out there will make it harder than it needs to be

Yeah the only way you can eject it from your account for free is if it's a new Ilok
