Default Atmos Audio i/o

Hello,

Pardon this "newbie" question. I teach Pro Tools and we are in the process of setting up a Dolby Atmos workstation.

I have succeeded in getting all the audio channels to respond EXCEPT the L/R.

If anyone is familiar with the ins and outs (pun intended) of this setup, I would be most grateful for advice.

Thanks!

Tell us a little more about your setup. And are the Dolby session templates working ok?

I began with the 32 channel template in the current rev. of PT (2018.1) -- not HD.

Assigned all the bus outputs the way I thought they should be in PT i/o settings.

I have a 7.1 configuration being output via a Clarett 8Pre.

Outputs 1 & 2 are the L/R (front) stereo pair.

All channels from 3 to 8 receive and output to the speakers.

(Although, the output didn't come from the speakers I expected.)

1 & 2 show they are receiving the Return from the Renderer in PT, but there's no output.

I can attach a screenshot of the i/o settings later today if that would be helpful.

Thanks!

AFAIK, you can't run Atmos without PTHD. When you go to Peripherals, what does it say under the Atmos tab? And not to bum you out, but 7.1 is not Atmos. Are you running the Production Suite?

Again, apologies for my naivety.

Yes, I am referring to the Dolby Atmos Production Suite plug-in.
