Default Revoice Pro 4

Is anybody using revoice pro for tuning? I've been using Antares for 10+ years and I'm a creature of habit. I've done some spot tuning with revoice during the alignment stuff and it's pretty neat. I'm not sure if it's capable of totally replacing Antares.

On a line or two revoice does great, but when you have a whole vocal track, it seems to process slowly when you make a change. I also can't smooth the tuning like I can with Antares. If there is a glitch, anything I try to do to smooth it makes it more exaggerated. That could totally be operator error...

Just curious how others were using it.

For tuning, Melodyne is king. Once you align already tuned audio, I fail to see what new revoice pro brings over vocalign project

I agree, Melodyne is the best for tuning. We have the latest version and it works great. It even works on multiple note, chordal stuff, sources as long as they are not too distorted.

So same here but RVP4 allows you to align multiple tracks to the master.

In my version of VAProject (I believe) it’s only one at a time.

I also like the ability to double the vocal tracks via RVP

Melodyne reigns supreme here too The one thing the RVP has is their feature that allows time stretch while keeping the vibrato the same(something I don't need enough to justify the cost).
