Saved IO Settings Not Recalling Correctly PT 12.5.2 Mac
Hi
Anyone know why my saved Mac/El Capitan IO Settings do not recall correctly? For example the Bus order changes. Though all correct saved Bus configurations are all there. But at first glance it's a little unsettling not seeing the exact IO settings come up as originally saved.

sorry, i usually get an email when Quoted and i did not .. if you hit the word Name at the top .. it should reorder the I/O window you are in ... not sure why but i have seen odd things happen in the I/O forever .. i wish i had more for you .. but try the NAME sort .. yes, i agree it should save exactly as you wish ..
PT has been very disappointing lately !!

Re: Saved IO Settings Not Recalling Correctly PT 12.5.2 Mac
I've been seeing this for a while now... at least all the way back to V11, probably earlier.
All the correct assignments will be there, just not in the order they should be. Seems somewhat random, too. Unfortunately, given the number of bugs and quirks in PT right now, this is actually pretty far down the list in terms of importance, for me at least.

But wait! There's MORE! If you ever open a session that was brought in from any other setup, your IO>Bus tab will likely be bloated with any number of new paths(depending on what the other system had). Its best to delete them as soon as you open those sessions and save(and double-check for duplicate paths, especially the for the main outputs)
