Hissy Pres on the 24

Is it my 24 or my patchbay, without having to repatch everything are the control 24 pres loud when it comes to hiss?

Maybe Control24 has a series of MBox circuit boards inside.
My MBOX can generate up to -30db of hiss.
Odd thing is, it records a lot cleaner than it sounds in the headphones.

Hi ajazzie, The pres on the C24 are not really that Hissy. But if theres something wrong with the pre's that could be a sign. Try to bypass the patchbay, If the hiss is still there then you have a problem with the C24 if not then its youre patchbay. If that is to much trouble then just try to trun up the pre, if the hiss goes up with the pre then its probably youre the pres.
