PT9HD and SMPTE How do you do it?
Help Please I have PT9HD on win7 with 2 HD cards. I also have a USD Sync box from my mix24 system. I now need to generate smpte with pt master to have the console and video gear chase...I have striped a track and it does work BUT...I would like to open the track and use a generator instead.the USD says it will work with pt9hd but I found a thread that says it will not work...and it doesN'T work, at least any way I have tried. Any Idea how to generate LTC from pt9hd or sync using machine control or...use USD in a stand alone??????
Thanks John PS I hope pt11hd has a LTC out...LOL

MTC out to the USD for free standing conversion is the only way I know that a USD works with anything past 6
You need the USD's replacement the Sync HD http://www.avid.com/US/products/Sync-HD
