workflow for multiple effects presets
Just a quick question for the community out there...I'm looking for a quick way to run multiple effect presets on voiceovers. I am using usually using 4 or 5 of the same presets each time but I don't want to run them as a plugin in real time. I want to effect the audio and see the changed waveform. Does anyone have a trick for running an effect chain let's say an EQ preset, compression preset, and saturation effect all in one keystroke? I have used some other DAW's that used to let me setup effects racks and a bunch of processing moves in one easy step but I haven't figured out if it's possible in PT yet. Thanks for the help

Set these up on an AUX track in your template. Deactivate the AUX track, work as you normally do. When it's time to render, activate the AUX track and re-route your audio through it, then bounce.
Another option is to set everything up inside Blue Cat Patchwork. Save as a Patchwork preset, then set that preset as default.. Then you can use the Audiosuite version of Patchwork and render everything in one click.

I use Blue Cat's PatchWork to set up a plugin chain with all settings, save as a preset and render that via Audiosuite. It's necessary that you have VST/AU versions of your plugins to work inside PatchWork though.

That makes some sense...I'll give both a try. Thanks all!

Session template and/or track template would solve this. I have several(of both) that have all my usual plugins in place and with preset parameters. Any plugins with high latency are inactive in the template.
