That’s on HD right? What buffer setting, or does it matter?

HDX is probably the difference. I used to have 4 accell cards and really never had issues. Since I went to Thunderbolt and the Avid thunderbolt Native HD even with a top Mac computer I started having issues. I used to use VEPro for big orchestra stuff and that really helped, but I grew tired of using that...

Yes, HDX. Buffer usually at 128.

Top one clock to the left and bottom one click to the right is the basic tape emulation. I often clip gain down 6-12 dB. and run it in pre.

Thanks, Bob.

Any others? Perhaps even in combination with other saturation plug-ins.

As for as I know:

Upper button to the left is "tape like sound". To the right is "Tube like sound". The bottom one is just an eq.

So for me its just the upper button most of the time 1 clic left. Sometimes 1 clic right. I never touch the bottom one. Prefer to do my eq on my external equalisers.

Love HEAT!
