Default Setting up an "add time at the end" macro

Hello, all.

I'd like to try to set up a macro to use either via my Artist Control with a custom softkey or even just a Mac OS keystroke.

I have an ongoing editing job where, after trimming the dialogue, I have to add 0.5s at the end of each region for the final output. I edit the empty spot out between the dialogue sections, tab to the end of the region, enter 0.500s in the counter, shift+option+tab to go to the start of the region while keeping the 0.500s at the end selected, shift+option+3 to consolidate.

The thing that is stumping me is how to specify the 0.500s in the macro. In other words, I figure I'd go to the start of a region, then program the macro as:
-tab (to go to end of region)
-specify the 0.500s somehow
-shift+option+tab to select to start of region including the 0.500s at the end
-shift+option+3 to to consolidate

Anyone have ideas?

Thanks!
