How do you set mulitple BPMs on same track?
I was hoping someone could explain or point me to a search desciption on HOW TO SET MULTIPLE BPM's on the SAME TRACK?
I am recording a track that changes tempo throughout the song. Intro section is 147BPM, the verse section is 157BPM, and the Chorus section is 140BPM. These sections of course repeat several times. I would like to then insert a click track and have it follow the change in BPM / Grid. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ross |

Re: How do you set mulitple BPMs on same track?
Create a Click track setup, then use 'Add Tempo Change' and enter the desired locations as to where you'd like the tempo change to take place. For a little smoother tempo transition try the 'Tempo Editor' if your running version 7.x.

with conductor icon pressed, insert timeline where you want the tempo to change ie. the chorus. go over to the ruler names and press the "+" sign in the tempo box. in the pop up window type the desired tempo.
