Default Yamaha 6416s compatible, what about sxz??

Checkin out the compatibility list. I see that the Yamaha 6416s burner is compatible with MLCD. What about 6416sxz?? And if not, why? What's the difference between s and sxz? Thanks in advance.

The 6416s and 6416sxz are one and the same, except that the sxz is the external model...the "S" is usually used by third party packagers (Like Glyph, per instance)and put in thier own external cases. right now, I believe you can buy one at comp usa for $330.00, and you recieve a $30 rebate(big deal ; )...but you still need a mini 50 pin SCSI cable (male/male) and an SCSI2 card(Like an Adaptec 2930u2- all not included) it should all work out fine with masterlist since it is a qualified drive...just bought one today, Ill let yas know how it works out...; )=
