CD Writer Setup Option Greyed Out

Sorry for such a simple question, but I could not find the answer in the manual.

If the CD Writer Setup Option is Greyed Out does that mean that MLCD does not support my drive? I can access it from the OS, but I can't tell if MLCD sees it because I can't get into the screen.

Stats: G4/450/OS9, MLCD 2.2, Phillips CDD521 upgraded (toast sees it as a CDD522)
