HELP, keep getting ACCESS VIOLATION
When I try to do certain tasks in PT, I get a pop up that says access violation. sometimes, it makes pt close all together. I thought by updating to 7.3.1 the problem would be solved. However, that is not the case. When I try to set midi configurations I also get the access violation message. Can someone please help me with this???

spkguitar gave us some valuable advice which solved my access violation problems..... (thanks again spk
) "Make sure you are using the latest versions of all your plug ins (waves especially)and that you have not compressed files on your session drive using Windows Disk Cleanup feature(these are 2 major causes of access violation" Do a search and you will get plenty of advice Mal
