fast track ultra 8R PTMP 7.4 \"unable to locate M-A hardware\"
tried the latest driver (2.0), my computer exceeds the minimum requirements and sees/passes audio through the interface. i've installed and uninstalled for hours and still nothing. i have an HD2 rig at my studio had a digi001 digioo2 for home. thought i'd try this but PTMP just won't see the hardware (fast track ultra 8R). it's brand new outta box and i've run out of ideas. if any of you have a solution i'd really appreciate it. read every thread related to the problem, but found nothing on the Fast Track Ultra 8R. i'm desperate to get this thing working or else it's going back. thanks in advance, kenny |

hi! I had the same problem. at the digidesign homepage you have to download the pro tools update M-Powered 7.4cs4. after that the ultra 8r should work.
