What do you mean " not supposed to work with M-powered"? You have to have an M-audio interface connected, but the controller should work. My Axiom 61 works just fine, though I don't have it programmed to control a bunch of different settings in PTs. It shows up as a midi device and I can trigger Xpand or EZdrummer, or any other plugin for that matter. I am not a midi genius, and I did get a little frustrated trying to set up all the transport controls and such.
