save boom kits
Is there a way to save a kit that I have altered in boom so that I can recall it and use it in a different project. I am only using Boom's sounds, not trying to get it to trigger other WAV files

Re: save boom kits
Save the plugin settings as a preset as you would with any plugin. If you don't know how yet, hit youtube and search for "saving plugin settings in pro tools"(without the quotes)

Re: save boom kits
Hi Dave, ok so I saved the settings but when I recalled them it brought in the pattern also. So what I'd like to be able to do is save just the settings of the altered kit and then apply them to other patterns. So in essence I'm talking about creating a new kit I guess... Not sure if thats possible?

Re: save boom kits
if I do that then it comes in blank. What I'd like to do is be able to apply the altered kit to an existing pattern. So, when I find a preset groove pattern that I like then I can apply the altered kit to that groove. Currently there are 10 different kits to choose from. But I noticed that sometimes when I choose a pattern there will be a * next to the kit indicating that the kit has been modified. So is there a way to modify a kit and then apply that kit to an existing preset pattern?

Re: save boom kits
All the more reason why Boom should work more like Ultrabeat in Logic. To be able to drag the patterns onto the timeline would be a big step forward in functionality. Same with Strike. Why has this not been done? It's a big reason why I do most of my programming in Logic.
