getting that pro finish
Hi.
I have been using music production software for some time now. I like electronic music like infected mushroom, paul van dyke etc. I always try to compare a mix i do with something commercial that i listen to, just from the production aspect but it never sounds as clear or balanced as the commercial music. Ive got close ish once or twice, probably more through luck but I was wondering if anyone knew of any good sites or info about in depth mixing for producing dance style music or any music for that matter. Are there some rules i may be missing? Any good mixers out there got some good advice for me? Thanks

Pay a visit to a mastering house. Equipment and talent play a major role.
