Default Question for Nexus2 users

Hey Friends

I have just cleaned out some of the files on our two MBP's main drives due to space issues. When i installed Nexus2 and the expansions it made a folder called Nexus Content and placed it on the main sub file system.

Now when I need to move the expansions as they are over 120GB i dragged the whole folder content to an SSD drive but had to rename it since the folder couldn't be moved for main hard drive.

So I wonder if the expansions can live on a secondary drive and if i need to
re-import all the expansions again and of so, will nexus place those on the main drive again or can we just point to the new folder where I copied the content?

Thanks for any input here as I never moved any of these on either of the MBP's before.

When you tried to move the folder did OSX throw up an error message? Usually when I get something like that I have to supply my username and password even though I'm logged in as an administrator.

Hey.

I recently moved the content myself.

deleting took a log in password but then it worked ok.

opened Nexus 2 which asked where the content is and I just re linked via the dialog

Glad you solved that, Christopher. I just saw this and was going to tell that, yes, you can keep all your Nexus libraries on a sep drive. I have from Day 1.
