M audio mini 32 Keyboard unable to communicate

Power cycle keyboard
drivers look fine
makes no sense -
I see this is normal for older version but I'm running the most current 12 ulitmate - its supposed to be plug n play it comes with no drivers
any recommendations for replacement that works

Have you set it up inside Pro Tools? Go to Setup>Midi>Midi Studio. PT needs to know 2 things in that window, what midi channels to look at(be default it will look at all 16, so that's easy) and WHERE to look for incoming midi(the Midi Input Path). If the drivers are good, the keyboard should be listed on the Input path drop-down menu(it may be the ONLY available choice)
