Default Pro Tools 8.0.3 Experience (no more 6085 errors!!!)

I'm curious about other people's experiences. Ever since I installed PT on Win 7 (8.0.3 and 64-bit support drivers), I'm recording boatload of tracks with plugs at 64 and 128 rates with NO 6085 errors. With all the sessions I had one freeze up and that was probably because I also had plenty of other apps in the background.

DTS - Tell your team JOB WELL DONE! The performance is top notch (at least for me). Now we just need ADC and higher track counts and I'll be in recording bliss...

I'd be curious about your interface, too, as well as (if possible) getting a Sandra report.

And which drivers are you using, exactly (you say 64-bit support - but which version and for which hardware)?

Digi my question for youwould ypu please be so kind and helpme?

Well My first problem In Windows 64 bits
Who else??
First I am aware that MBOX PRO no need the new driver.
the first time I installed PT 8.0.3 whith out the new driver(Digidesign Audio Drivers Setup (x64) as was said by Digi, okay my Mbox Pro worked greats.

So I decided to go for my Digi 003 in the same notebook, i did all is recommended and installed the driver for 64 bits and my 003 worked perfect too.
BUT I wanted use my MBOX PRO again, i open PT and there is a message "Unable to locate Digidesign hardware. make sure your hardware is connected and turned on. ClicK" OK" when the hardware is ready, I did, no results. I went to Device Manager and the MBOX PRO appears right, tried differentes drivers appears . none firewire driver is useful, Legacy, standard texas instrument from notebook, and other what appears also, tried different cable, one PCMCIA card for firewire tha i used to use before,(mean i know that PCMCIA works) and nothing get , no solution, please help if possible

My notebook is HP NW 9440 supported by Digidsign, that's why I do the question to DIGI'S support Thanks

Yep, the answers to these things could help with others.

I'm running Leopard curring, because I was waiting for the upgrade from Pro Tools. I'm getting the same error message. Once I upgrade, maybe that would solve the problem?

Hey guys,

Sorry for the delayed message. I'll post a Sandra report tomorrow morning. For now, I'll give a quick synopsis:

- Custom Rig - EVGA X58, Intel i7, etc. Onboard Firewire that is TexInst comp and all that. I got 6GB Memory and a EVGA GTX260 card.

- Digi 002 Rack (firewire)

- Win 7 Enterprise 64-bit (I think it's basically ultimate)

- I am using the 8.0.4 64-bit digi beta drivers (my bad I don't have the exact version number on-hand, though I think there's only two set for Win 7 32-bit,64-bit)

- I have a single 1TB OS/Apps drive (Samsung 7200 RPM; 32MB Cache) and a secondary audio recording drive (WD Caviar Blk; 7200 RPM; 32MB cache)

Note: I installed PT 8.0, but NOT the 8.0.1 update. I went straight to 8.0.3, rebooted and finished. Rebooted again. On bootup, I ripped out the current audio drivers and tossed on the 64-bit ones. At that point I rebooted again.

After that, it was all cake. Low sample rates and boatloads of tracks. At least 3 plugs a track if I wanted to and not one frikkin 6085 message! Like I said on the 40 or 50 sessions thus far, only once I froze and it was on opening a session while I was digging in gmail and had iTunes and IE up. I disobey the rule of no internet access. I need to be able to send stuff asap.

Also please note I use an RME ADI-2, as well as two BCF2000s and other midi/usb devices including Kore 2. I haven't worked out the kinks with everything yet, but PT has been a frikkin champ...

Again, I'll post a full Sandra tomorrow. My vacation starts then...
