Default Digidesign sync?

One of these is going cheap and I’m wondering if it’s worth purchasing? Will it improve my sound etc. At the moment I’m just using the 192 in my set up.

I don't think it does anything to affect sound. Its all about sync to video AFAIK

Never had one, but it would sync for timecode to video and would sync your digi midi interface also.

Never heard of anyone saying that the 192 sounded bad in and of itself.....(ie when not talking about or comparing to other interfaces)

Don’t think the sync would buy you much for pure audio ( barring of course the midi interface, it would sync that up to your 192’s)
