Default PT Session with Wave files on a G4 800: weird ...

Hi,

I have been having a weird bug with PT 5.1.3/Pt5.1.1 using OS 9.2 on a G4 800 when working with Wave files.
Everything was fine until a few days ago.
Seems all the sessions are corrupted. I then make a Save Session copy in as SD2, disselecting MAC/PC compatibility and things go fine.
The weird noise I listen when I try to audition what I have just recorded ONLY happens with these WAVE or WAve + Reinforce MAC/PC selected.
IS it time for a reinstall or Am I missing something?
BTW.. I was just celebrating a period of 6 months with no crashes and bugs
Thanks

Digi, just checked your answerbase with all the possible combinations and nothing that fits my problem. BTW.. t happens with sessions with only 24 tracks and also up to 55 tracks. The target problem is always the presence of Wave data in the session or MAC/PC compat featured selected.
BTW.. I am not having 9073 errors also.
Any help?

just found the problem.. waveshell 3.2rtas did the damage.
Tried reinstalling pt but keeping old DAE folder...it was not enough
Installed waveshell 3.6, now everything is ok again.

corrupt DAE. Throw away your preferences as listed DAE preferences, Digi setup, and pro Tools preferences. you might also through all of your dig database fords on all of your drives, empty your trash, zap your Phee ram once you re-boot and you will be cool or consult your digi data base. good luck!!

Thanks, Kurt. Everything is already fine here!
Except that soemtimes when recording the main outs of my digital board into PT, I listen to a soft click. It does not matter if quick punch is on and off. Experimenting with differnte buffer sizes, CPU usage now.. It does not happen all the time. If I click rec on the transpot window it is ok. It happens occasionally when in quick punch or with F12.
