The Mbox 2 range came way after OS9.

Put Panther 10.3.9 on it and PT 6.4 cs9 and you'll be ok.
Will need to have at least 512mb ram

I still don't think it will work as you won't find proper drivers(someone feel free to correct me if this is wrong). Plenty of old Moxes around for under 100 bucks
