Re: How to erase CD-RW with Toaster
Put the disc you want to erase in your CD-RW drive, open Toast, and go to Recorder-->Disc Info.
There should be a prompt in there that will allow you to erase the disc.

Re: How to erase CD-RW with Toaster
Exactly! Is so useless cuz it takes so long, I just use cdrs and bite the extra 50 cents if i need to redo a backup or something... CDRW erasing thru toast is a joke..
I ve used DirectCD and that works better, but only computers with than extension can read the discs.. what a drag.. anyone know of any worthwhile cdrw burn/erase progs that dont take 20 years? MT

Re: How to erase CD-RW with Toaster
Well...if you use the same CD-RW with Toast again, you can choose that option, and it only takes a fraction of the time.

Re: How to erase CD-RW with Toaster
Didn't 4.1.2 have the quick erase option? all you need to do is wipe the directory to reuse the disk
Been awhile so i don't remember! The long form erase is the same as doing a low level format on disk and considering how slow cd-rw's are yes it will take some time.
