Sync and Sound Quality

I've looked but haven't found this covered elswhere.
Currently I have a Mix system and a DA78 slaved to DTP by word/super Clock. The DTP gets sync from a Horita Black burst box that also feeds a 3/4" deck.
Originaly I set this up because I was always slaving to the 3/4" but now I'm just digitizing from the 3/4" and using digital picture after that.
Now there have been lots of "clock" discusions and the concensus is that Digi hardware sounds alot better if its clocked to a more stable clock. So my question is what would improove my setup or is perfect right now?? Is the DTP clock good, bad, OK? Does slaving it to BB make it better, worse? Will any of theese changes actualy be audible? Should I scrap it all and go build houses...oops thats a dif. topic.

Clock is king. you may already have the best for you but keep trying others. You will hear the difference. Need a hod carrier?
