96k PT7.4 -Mpwrd Lightbridge Rec. Limit

Please read my post on the M-Audio website. PT 7.4 is capable of recording 10channels at 96k. This is the limit and it will work, but no more than 10. This is with the current m-audio driver and no updates to 7.4. The response I got from M-Audio tech is clear. This limitation is due to digidesign clearly not wanting you to be able to do this.

The quote from M-audio was "Ok, I have looked into this and the there is a bug logged against Pro-Tools for this. Pro-Tools is supposed to recognize and organize the inputs for SMUX inputs so that optical port 1 is inputs 1-4, optical port 2 is inputs 5-8, optical port 3 is inputs 9-12, and optical port 4 is inputs 13-16. However, Pro-Tools is not doing this. Apparently Digidesign is still working on fixing this problem." Paul M-Audio tech support.

Could someone from Digidesign please fix this. I'm still waiting, it's been almost a year with no response.
