Default Cannot find downloaded plugin in PT 10.3.9

Hey guys,

I just purchased & downloaded Valhalla Vintageverb and Room plugins & the appropriate licenses.
I unzipped them, then opened up a session to check them out, and I cannot find the plugin. I have a feeling that I am missing something simple here....any suggestions how I could find it?

I'm running PT 10.3.9 on Windows 7

Can yall help me out (without laughing at me)

Thanks,
Mike

Have you gone through their FAQ to see if anything there helps?

I did, but they did not have a specific answer for the plug-in not showing up in Pro Tools on a Windows system (they did for LogicX on a Mac).

Should I have downloaded the plug-in to a specific folder? I did send it to the same folder that has other plug-ins in it (although I may have another separate folder with other plug-in's in it also). So I guess I should also ask, what is the proper folder that I should have all of my plug-in's located it?

And now that I look back, I see a download from another plug-in from a while back that I totally forgot about that I know is not showing up either?

Any other ideas?

Thanks for your time guys!

OK, I just thought of something else that I may have done incorrectly if someone can verify for me.

When I downloaded those plug-ins, I had the option to use RTAS, AAX 32-bit and AAX 64-bit. I chose the AAX-64 bit.

Should I have gone with the AAX 32-bit since I'm using PT 10.3.9? (I am at work now, so I cant check for myself at the moment)

Thanks,
Mike

Edit: ok, after reading this thread here, I think I answered my own question. Sorry if I wasted anyone's time!

Thanks

Don't worry, you're now being an example for many others that it pays off to first do some own research :) Glad you got it sorted out...

Yeah, I usually do research before posting stuff like this, but I was in a hurry last night and didn't put forth my due diligence.

It wont happen again, I promise!
