PT12 with Digi003 Console - Automation Problem

When attempting to mix volume levels via the touch-sensitive faders on the Digi003 console, the playback volume/s of the channel/s I am automating do not play instantly with the new levels, but instead, play back the original levels until I actually rewind and playback to hear the changes.

This is quite useless, because I cannot hear the changes I am making until I replay.

(I previously used a Digi002 console which had no problems like this.)

Could there be a setting I have incorrect that is preventing this automation working as it should?

Following: My Digi 003 Console the faders have never worked. Everything else works but the faders do not follow the Automation or any Moves I make on the console faders, I always assumed it was the driver not being set up to do that?

My Digi003 follows the automation on playback, it just doesn't follow it when writing.

I am not sure what to suggest however to improve your experience, if you have the same drivers (most recent). However, I'm on a Mac (Yosemite).
