Default Rewire not showing up

Hi, I have looked for an solution to this problem here in the forums and elsewhere but it seems no one has the answer. I have a Windows Vista 32bit Home Basic OS, with Propellerhead Record installed. I have recently purchased an M-Audio Fast-track which includes Pro Tools M-Powered Essentials. Everything has installed just fine but when I go to use the Rewire protocol as the instruction manuals both on the user manuals, and other websites (such as Propellerhead) I keep finding that when I pull up the insert on the multichannel plug in-instrument submenu, it is not listed anywhere.
Can anyone tell me if Rewire works for this particular software and if so, how to get it working? Thanks.
