Hi,

It won’t say exactly what the cause is, but I would say the session in now corrupt. You will need to open a new session and use import session data. Import a few tracks at a time and make a note what those tracks are and if you can recall what plugins are used on those track in case it is a plug-in issue. Plus if it does quit you’ll know toughly which track is causing the issue

Chances are once opened like this it will work fine. Probably got corrupted when you toggled between different OS.

Have you tried opening with plugins disabled? Hold the shift key whilst loading the session etc

Chris

Well this started happening again in other sessions about 30 minutes later. So I decided to roll back to a working image I made of my system
Drive with time machine. This sorted everything all sessions open fine now. So god knows what happened to my system drive and how it got corrupted

Hi,

bet you installed a plugin after the cloned image! just being in the plugins folder means its loaded into the plugin cache. you have to be very careful not to install something that is "too recent" a version for you system as well as something that's too old for you system. Its a careful balancing act of using what was made and tested for your era of OS and PT versions.

Seen it hundreds of times

Chris
