Dont credit me for it - I found it either in the 741 read me or under leopard compatibility. The info came from Digidesign. Nevertheless - a very valuable piece of information
That's actually kind of bizarre.

If Digi thought we'd want that feature, shouldn't they have just made a "Turn Events into Warp Markers" menu item?

Yep .. thats what i was scouring the manual for - the most obvious solution. I didn't find any of those other solutions in my travels either.

thanks for the help.

Does this actually work - I've been trying that here and it doesn't seem to.

I have a part and have been looking at where things go when quantized by 1% and then removing warp. It seems like that process causes the audio to move once with the quantize and once again with the remove warp, but the second doesn't action doesn't move it to where it came from. In some instances (on the same track) it moves certain warp markers closer to where the analysis markers was, and in others further.

It would, as was mentioned here, be ideal for there to be a create warp maker from analysis marker function (with a key command, while you're at it )

Anyone manage to get this to work as you'd figure it should?

Just to say I've tried this on many sources.

David
