Nate, in the Facebook group you mentioned something about the address bar still needing to be fixed, is this an update on that?

Look through their promotional ads. I can't find a single one that shows a pc. It's all mac.

Hey Taylor-- oh cool you found me over there as well haha

I updated that post the other day to the appropriate info. for anyone who isn't in the Avid PT facebook group:

LINKS TO SET THIS UP:

First install UXThemePatcher
This is the custom theme Matte - by KDr3w

And make sure that your Windows theme color is set to Dark mode by going to Personalization -> Colors and selecting Dark from the first drop down

NateAlexander,

I did install the UXThemePatcher and Matte by KDr3w but still got the PT menu in black fonts and white background. Am I missing something? is just a theme in particular from Matte that you used?

By the way, I completely agree with you about PT not supporting macro software that uses win and alt keys. Why Is PT for windows crippled like this?

It took me a while to ralize why Slate did note develop batch commander for windows, and the same goes for Sound Flow. It´s not their fault.

Or may PT should have a way to change its key commands like almost every other DAW. !!

Yeah. And I'm still on an old Mac, but it is really showing it's age. How the processor situation is going it's really crazy right now thinking of what to upgrade. The Mac Pro's are so ridiculously overpriced, especially thinking of what is on offer by AMD, and OTOH M1 is going to take a while, especially running HDX2 (although maybe we get something to replace that by the time M1 would be ready for large session Pro Tools use)...

This has been working great for me.

However, after trying the Borderless Pro Tools application here http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=415078 (which was unsuccessful for me) now I can no longer get the Matte theme back working again - the menu and title bars will not change to dark colors...

Any thoughts on how I can make it work again?
The developer there has stated that "program does not change any external files or registry. It is using code snippets from user32.dll (integrated system winapi library)"

Thanks for any ideas...

I am the developer of the Borderless Pro Tools for Windows program.

If anyone of you wants to help me with this, take the risk and use my program with the Matte theme applied. I did it and nothing was broken.

Please report me if the program works and if not, how it affected the theme.
