QUESTION ABOUT INSERTING MIDI PLUG INS
Hi, Kind of new at pro tools. Im running 6.7 on an mbox, and I want to record my native instruments elektrik piano plug in on a track. When Im recording midi data it does not allow me to use an insert. How am I able to get midi into my elektrik piano plug in and record midi data at the same time? I have no idea. Any help would be great! -Pete

Re: QUESTION ABOUT INSERTING MIDI PLUG INS
Watch the DiskFlix tutorial about sampletank. The process is pretty similar, just replace 'elektric piano' everywhere they say 'sampletank'.
Let us know if you need more help after that.

Re: QUESTION ABOUT INSERTING MIDI PLUG INS
OK, how about a little test?
Create a new session. Create a stereo aux track, make sure it's fader turned up and insert the Elektric Piano on it. Click File on the EP and select the MK-1 essential patch. Create a MIDI track. Set it's input to the port that your keyboard controller is on, and set the output to "Elektrik Piano 1 - (No Channels Activated)". Record arm the MIDI track. Does the meter on the MIDI track show that input is being received? If so, do you hear sound from the EP?
