Default Soft Sampler Programs Compatible W/Wave Driver?

Noticed the asio driver doesn't work alongside the wave driver?

Is anybody using any soft sampler programs alongside protools 5.3 on xp?

i just need something that can load soundfonts. not sure which programs do but something like reason, halion whatever. digi 001 is the only soundcard on my system.

does anybody know if any of these work with the wavedriver/and or load soundfonts?

just wanting to know before i install anything.

thanks
