Default Pro Tools 10 crashes after importing session data

After importing session data including clips and media, volume automation, pan automation and mute automation Pro Tools crashes when attempting to play the session. After re-opening Pro tools the session plays normally. Any thoughts?

Hi,
old post, but experiencing the same thing now with 12.8. (any version). Maybe some of you pros have an idea and proposal. It's not really important, but just annoying...
Thanks and best

Given the lack of any kind of system info as well as what exactly you are doing no one can really help.

Hi, importing session data as indicated in the thread. PT 12.8., macOS Sierra 10.12.6.
Mostly importing plugins, resp. plugin settings. Sometimes cannot play back after importing and PT crashes everytime I close the session. After reopening, everything is fine.
Thanks and best.

Importing session data from where - another session or what? If another PT session - same PT version as you're trying to import to? Importing from an external drive?

Importing settings within the same session. Never mind. Thought the issue would be known. No big deal.

Sounds like a corrupt session.

Try importing without bringing in any plugins. If that works, its likely a rogue plugin.
