SC48 SOUNDCHECK EL CAPITAN protools free ?

I'm a bit annoyed about soundchek function with my 48 SC console .
Weighty Issues I bought an air iBook El Capitan just to manage soundchek function and work my scales. As I can install my version PT 10 I have on my iMac studio . I just wanted to know if he was free to avoid the recorder protools to buy a new software PROTOOLS 12. I have no need for virtual instruments and sample library.

I am looking version of protools Just the (recording and playback ) to El Capitan to integrate my Bookair and rework my soundchek during my lives .

Hello Fred! If Venue Link functionality does not make it worth to you to pay for Pro Tools upgrade you might find other DAW software capable of handling your basic needs. You might want to check out Waves Tracks that comes free and might be working fine with SC48 as per this thread. I don't know if Waves Live is compatible with El Capitan, you need to research that and/or try other DAW's out there like Logic or Reaper but these don't come free.

So what's the problem then? Update to latest PT version for El Capitan and enjoy!

KRISTO thank you for your reply, For your information, I work with version 10 of my big imac , and protools 10 is not accepted on El Capitan . So I have to buy yet another version to El Capitan for Mac book air. :) You understand , I want to avoid carrying my big mac and I take my Mac book Air ...
