Setting up advice
Hello,
I was hoping someone may be able to provide some advice as I'm new to the Mac platform. I have just recently purchased an Apple Macbook Pro (13inch, i5 dual core processor- 4GB RAM), a WD black hard drive (My Book Essential 1TB - 7200rpm) and an MBox Pro 3 with Pro Tools 9. My question is, are there any tweaks I should perform to my new Mac or are the new systems fast enough to run my Pro Tools 9? As I stated previously, I am new to the Mac as I previously ran Pro Tools v.6.9 on the 'vintage' blue MBox on an Acer laptop with XP, 2GB RAM etc. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
