Battery 4 - Compatible with Pro Tools 12+?

Hi, I can see Battery 4 is half price as part of the current NI sale, but before I buy - very ignorant question - just making sure it is compatible with Pro Tools 12+ ? Under the FAQ's it is unclear.

This article talks about Komplete but not Battery:

I have searched for "Battery 4" in this forum and could not find a clear thread on the matter....

I can confirm aswell. Been using Battery 4 for a couple of years and it works just great with PT12.x.

Battery 4 is so buggy as to be unusable in PT 2018.x and 2019.5. Just navigating in the file view causes Pro Tools to instantly crash. I have a brand new Mac Mini too.

Well not buggy here whatso ever. On several Mac Pro’s 12core 64GB with PT2019.5 Ultimate and worked the same on 2018.X

You seem to have quite a few issues with your system as evident by several threads with problems so maybe there is something else happening in your setup as there aren’t any posts about this here by others

Battery 4 works perfect i am currently on el cap and ultimate 2019.5 not sure about later OS!

On a properly set-up system Battery 4 updated through NI's Native Access is pretty much bullet-proof. Just don't put the samples on a drive that sleeps


The only thing that drives me nuts with it is I can't seem to MIDI learn the overall output level control at the upper right of the gui

Yes it's a known bug that NI is aware of. But it doesn't have nothing to do with PT. It randomly crashes in stand alone as well, when navigating in the file tab. It's unbelievable that they did't fix this after about 2 years. For me it is unusable.

Can't say that I've run into this and I've had Battery 4 since it came out and have the latest updates. All this on the 5,1 cheesegrater in my profile.
