My Control 24 just went down, and I talked to service, but didn't get the email. Can you email it to me also?

Thanks,

Hi DigiTechSupt.

Can I ask you to re-post the DigiDelivery link for PSU replacement instructions?

Many thanks in advance.

I am working on our C24 this week and was wondering if you could forward those PDF's to me. Control 24 is a dirty word at Avid/Digi these days, they hate when you ask.
Thanks in advance!

Hi,

I've got a few Digi Guides people may find useful for the Control 24, that I've pick up over the years

- Channel Bar replacement
- Cub board
- Fader Control board
- Fader replacement
- Power Supply replacement/upgrade
- Cleaning PSU connections

Just send me your email.

Hey there,

Could you send any docs you have?

Please send them to [email protected]

It's almost criminal behavior that digi (sorry AVID) won't send out service manuals to qualified studio techs who buy their gear. It's up to us to get this info out to everyone as we find it. Having to spend thousands on a board that listed for $8000 to get my console back in shape when I (as a qualified tech or any other of my techs) could do it for some parts just isn't right! Heck the way it's built it's almost impossible to get at the boards never mind the chips and caps! That being said, I love the board and use it every day. Avid needs to rethink it's pro stance if they want to be thought of as a pro audio company like Neve and SSL or even Mackie!!! I can get service manuals from them!

AVID, no one cares about copying your stuff. But we as loyal users, testers and developers (since serial # 17) deserve better as we are the ones who help you keep sales alive in many markets. Wake up and smell better business practices. Thanks!

Can someone please email me the Fader Replacement Guide? One of my Command8 faders has the jitters.
Also, would anyone know where I can get a replacement fader?
