Dated Question- PT 9 Software anywhere?

Apologies in advance for asking this on the forum.... and for full disclosure. Am a hobbyist now getting back into home pro audio/recording:

Is there any guidance on obtain a legit PT9 software upgrade( yes I know its no longer sold) to upgrade from current PT 8.0.5 platform/ I know it requires iLok and many are non transferable. Just thought Id ask forum.

You may have reasons for looking for PT9, but I would try to move up a bit higher. PT10 uses a newer file format(easier to trade sessions with current version users) and adds Clip Gain(an editing game changer). Moving higher gets more and more goodies(IOW, you don't know what you're missing)
