PROTOOLS 10 no playback sound on computer speakers when midi device is connected!!?
If I record through my computer mic, I have an option to choose "HD audio output" as my output, and I can hear the recording through my computer speakers. However, when I connect my MIDI keyboard, I can't choose that as my output (the options I have are 3-UM-ONE, MS GS Wavetable and MS Midi mapper)...I can't get the sound playing through my computer speakers! Appreciate the help!

MIDI keyboards dont make sound
Plug your midi keyboard in Create an Instrument track Open an instrument plugin (piano or whatever) Make sure your speakers are set on the output of this track. Play your keyboard
